Indian traditional dress

Indian traditional outfits are purely beautiful. they are made from all types of silks and fabric and are some of the most colourful outfits around the world. Indian clothing is known for is colour and grace. The traditional outfit for the males are suitable for the warm climate and comfort. Where as the woman's  outfits bring out the more famine side such as the Saree.
Girls before they hit the age of puberty should wear a long skirt called langa and a short blouse, called a choli, when the girl hits the age of puberty she is also expected to wear a half Saree, and the women a full Saree.
The Saree is the most common outfit for woman, it is a long piece of cloth made from silk, Cotton or synthetic. If the sari is made from silk, it would probably be embroidered around the boarder  but if it is a synthetic sari then they are just printed in various designs such as floral, multi-color shaded or animal prints. These saris are 9 meters long and can be draped over the body in many different ways. Al thought the most common way is for it to be wrapped around the waist and then hung off the should covering the stomach.

Men generally wear a dhoti, which can be worn full length baggy pants or as shorter thigh length pants, depending on the region.  In northern India, western clothing has replaced the dhoti and other traditional piece of men's clothing , while women still wear saris or other Indian styles of dress.

Now day more and more Indian traditional dressing types have been brought into the modeling world, pictures and music videos have been influenced by the traditional styles of dress. As well as parties and weddings being based on the Indian culture or being given an Indian theme, not just to traditional Indian families with Indian background but also families who are from different cultures and places altogether.
